SYFLAT, founded on June 12th, 2014 (Reference: 2014S01520APSF1 – JORT number 70), is an academic association dedicated to the field of Systemic Functional Linguistics (SFL). This school of linguistics, established by M. A. K. Halliday in 1961, has since been further developed and applied to various domains. SYFLAT continues this tradition by organizing regular seminars to advance research in this area.
